Kings Place
Aurora has been Resident Orchestra at Kings Place in north London since 2010. One of the newest concert venues in the UK, Kings Place hosted Aurora’s ambitious five-year Mozart’s Piano series, built around the first complete cycle of Mozart’s piano concertos ever to be staged in London. Kings Place is also the home of Far, Far Away, Aurora’s story-telling-infused series for young children.
Southbank Centre
Having been Associate Orchestra at Southbank Centre since 2016, Aurora became a Resident Orchestra in 2022. Aurora’s work here currently centres around The Orchestral Theatre: a bold, collaborative series combining creative concert presentation and eclectic programming with a sense of discovery and adventure.
Bristol: St George’s Bristol
Aurora first performed at St George’s Bristol in 2010, since when it has developed a thriving residency in this jewel of a building – an intimate and characterful concert hall boasting one of the finest acoustics in the UK.
Bury St Edmunds: The Apex
We were invited to perform at The Apex shortly after it opened its doors for the first time in 2010, and have since developed a regular series in this stunning hall in the heart of Bury St Edmunds.
Canterbury: Colyer-Fergusson Hall
Aurora’s newest regional residency was launched in 2016 in this striking new hall situated in the midst of the University of Kent campus in Canterbury. The series is promoted in partnership with The Gulbenkian.
